- 2:23Powerful Equipment at WPI to Spot Cyber ThreatsResearchers at WPI are using a powerful microscope to analyze semiconductors and spot cybersecurity threats to computer hardware. The Phemos-X microscope is an emission and laser-scanning microscope that enables researchers to view transistors, inspect structures on a computer chip, and analyze signals, all with a goal of improving the security of integrated circuits.
