Field Hockey and Women’s Rowing Combine for Six to 2025 CSC Women’s At-Large Academic All-District Team
College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District - WPI Field Hockey & Women's Rowing
WORCESTER – A school-record six WPI student-athletes spanning field hockey and women's rowing have been selected to the 2025 NCAA Division III College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team, as announced in mid-June.
The Crimson and Gray are represented by field hockey student-athletes Lauren Meinhold (Boxborough, MA), Eve Martineau (Greene, ME), and Samantha Robison (Wrentham, MA), as well as women's rowing standouts Jules Prisco (Pelham, NY), Maggie Kirwan (Wolfeboro, NH), and Megan Tupaj (Amherst, NH).
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, honor the nation's top student-athletes for combined excellence in athletic competition and academic achievement. Selections are made in five divisions: NCAA Division I, II, and III, NAIA, and College Division.
Robison, a graduate student defender, started all 19 games in 2024 and helped WPI post five shutouts en route to a 12-win season and NEWMAC Tournament berth. A key defensive presence, she added two goals including a game-winner on just four shots. Robison was named to the All-NEWMAC First Team and NFHCA Division III All-Region I Second Team in 2024 closing out her career with a pair of All-NEWMAC honors and NFHCA All-Region accolades and was a four-time NFHCA National Academic Squad honoree. The veteran defender holds a 3.88 undergraduate GPA and 3.89 graduate GPA in biomedical engineering.
Martineau, a junior midfielder, also started all 19 games for the Engineers and contributed a pair of game-winning goals as she earned NFHCA All-Region I honors and was selected All-NEWMAC First Team during her junior stint. Martineau owns a 3.89 GPA in biomedical engineering and has been named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team. The Maine native has collected a pair of NEWMAC All-Conference First Honors and NFHCA All-Region Second Team citations thus far with WPI.
Meinhold, a senior mechanical engineering major with a 3.98 GPA, appeared in 19 games with 18 starts as she played a vital role in the midfield and backline, helping the Engineers to five shutouts. Meinhold is a two-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honoree and has two career All-NEWMAC nods with an NFHCA All-Region Second Team accolade in 2024.
Tupaj, a graduate student and two-year captain, was a member of the Varsity Eight that captured the 2024 NEWMAC Championship and was a six-time Boat of the Week selection during her career and a two-time NEWMAC All-Conference honoree. A final remaining member of WPI's 2022 NCAA Division III Varsity 8 National Championship crew, she has also competed at the 2021 Head of the Charles (4th place medalist) and the 2022 and 2025 Henley Women's Regatta. Tupaj is a four-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honoree, 2022 and 2023 CRCA National Scholar-Athlete, and a 2024-25 AIA Central MA Scholarship recipient. Tupaj owns a 3.96 undergraduate GPA and a 4.00 graduate GPA in architecture.
Prisco, also a graduate student and co-captain, rowed in the stroke seat of the Varsity Eight, helping lead the Engineers to a conference title, multiple Boat of the Week accolades, and strong finishes at both the New England Rowing Championships and National Invitational Rowing Championships. Prisco is a two-time NEWMAC First Team All-Conference selection and maintains a 3.57 undergraduate GPA and 3.81 graduate GPA in biomedical engineering.
Kirwan, a senior mechanical engineering major, competed in WPI's Varsity Eight lineup and has collected back-to-back NEWMAC All-Conference First Team honors en route to earning her first career Academic All-District recognition. Off the water, Kirwan carries a 3.63 GPA and is a NEWMAC Academic All-Conference selection.
Academic All-District honorees are now eligible for consideration for the prestigious CSC Academic All-America Team. Finalists for the national ballot are denoted with an asterisk (*) and will be voted on by CSC members. Division III Women's At-Large Academic All-America teams will be announced on Tuesday, July 8, while Men's At-Large teams will follow on Wednesday, July 9.
The Division III CSC Academic All-America program is partially supported by the NCAA Division III governance structure to help cover the costs of award distribution and fulfillment.

Representing the Engineers were juniors Meg Sherwood and Destiny Lum, and sophomores Naomi Boldebuck, Virginia McKinney, and Sandy Fairbairn. All five earned the prestigious recognition for the first time in their careers.
