Sringfield, MA --- Adin Pezo scored twice in the second half to put WPI in front, but Western New England tallied twice in the final 7:14 to rally for a 3-2 victory over the Engineers Sunday afternoon at Suprenant Field.

Cortland, NY --- Katie Adiletta and Tiziri Tizi-Ougdal scored first-half goals and Abigail Johnson added an early second-half tally as the WPI women's soccer team earned a 3-1 victory over Cortland Sunday afternoon at Holloway Field.

Springfield, MA --- The 24th-ranked WPI field hockey team picked up its first win of the season and first road victory on Saturday afternoon, rallying past Western New England, 2-0, at Golden Bear Stadium. The Engineers improve to 1-1 on the season while the Golden Bears fall to 1-1.

Amherst, MA --- Graduate student Everett Mosher, freshman Tucker Presnell and junior Drew O'Reilly all finished among the top eight as the WPI men's cross country team raced to a second-place finish at the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational, hosted by UMass on Saturday morning.

Waltham, MA --- Bridget Spees totaled 24 kills across two matches as the WPI Volleyball team split a pair of contests Saturday at the Brandeis Invitational. The Engineers opened the day with a 3-0 sweep of Wentworth, 25-14, 25-22, 26-24, before falling to Williams in four sets, 17-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-27. WPI moves to 1-3 on the season.
