Beyond the Visual: Two WPI Student Teams Develop Apps For The Visually Impaired
Two student research teams have developed smartphone apps for the visually impaired at the EcoTarium and the Worcester Art Museum. Advised by computer science Prof. Rodica Neamtu, the teams completed their work as part of their Major Qualifying Projects, or MQPs. MQPs are one of the pillars of WPI’s renowned project-based learning model.
